Prices come from Anthropic’s pricing page. Claude 4.6 and later models include the full 1M-token context at standard rates, and the Batch API halves input and output prices. Anthropic’s current models in the table are Claude Opus 5.5, Claude Sonnet 5.5, Claude Haiku 4.5 and Claude Fable 5.1. Claude Opus 4.1 was retired on the Claude API on August 5, 2026.

Which Claude models are current? Claude Opus 5.5, Claude Sonnet 5.5, Claude Haiku 4.5 and Claude Fable 5.1. Claude Haiku 4.5 is the cheapest, at $1 per million input tokens and $5 per million output tokens.
Does Claude charge more for long prompts? Not on Claude 4.6 and later models, which include the full 1M-token context at standard rates.
How much does the Claude Batch API save? The Batch API halves input and output prices.
