Webtamine’s privacy policy for website requests and the information you choose to send.
This policy explains how Webtamine handles information when you read the site or contact the publication. It describes the site’s current operation, rather than features we may add later.
Website requests
Opening a page sends technical information needed to deliver it, including an IP address, browser information, the requested address and the time of the request. Hosting and security services may process request records to operate the site, diagnose problems and limit abuse.
Webtamine uses Cloudflare for delivery and security. Pages also request the site’s fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google’s font services and sends the technical information needed for those requests. Google Analytics measures site traffic, as described below. These providers process information under their own applicable terms and privacy policies.
Messages you choose to send
The contact form asks for a name, email address, topic and message. We use those details to review the submission, respond where appropriate and handle corrections, permissions or privacy requests. The publishing system also records technical submission details, such as IP address and browser information, for operation and abuse prevention.
Messages are stored in the publishing system and may be included in notifications delivered to authorized editors through Telegram. Please do not send passwords, payment details, private keys, seed phrases or confidential documents through the form.
Analytics, cookies and external links
Webtamine counts page views, referring sources, internal searches, clicks on outbound links, form submissions and page-speed measurements with its own first-party analytics. This measurement sets no cookie.
Every public page also loads the Google tag for Google Analytics when you open it. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers to measure visits, and Google receives technical data from your browser, such as your IP address and the pages you view, under its own terms. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can block it with your browser’s content-blocking controls or Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
The site has no configured advertising scripts. Technical storage or cookies may also be used where needed by delivery, security or site functionality.
Links in articles lead to external websites. When you follow a link, that website’s privacy practices apply. This policy does not control information you provide directly to another service.
Access, use and retention
Access to contact submissions is limited to people and services that need it to operate the publication and handle the message. We do not use contact messages to add readers to a marketing list.
We keep information for as long as needed for its purpose, including resolving a request, maintaining a correction record, protecting the service or meeting applicable obligations. Retention can differ between a contact message, operational logs and backup copies. We do not promise a fixed deletion period that the underlying services cannot support.
Your requests
Use the contact page to ask about personal information associated with a message, request a correction or ask for deletion. Describe the relevant submission without including unnecessary sensitive information. We may need enough information to verify that a request concerns your data before disclosing or changing it.
Available rights and any limits depend on applicable law and the circumstances. We will consider requests in that context.
Policy changes
If the site’s data handling changes, this page should be updated to describe the new practice. For general site-use conditions, see the Terms of Use.
